2009
Studying at university takes more hours out of one's day than being a stay-at-home Dad. It's a fact. Shamefully, I didn't keep the blog updated during 2009. Here are our photos for 2009.
Teaching finished for the year
On my last day, my Year 7 History class decided a party would be much more fun than learning any more medieval history.
Excited
Having completed their hike around the Blue Mountains, the children know that an ice cream can't be far away now.
Scenic Railway
The scenic railway is a hundred year old train that rises at a very steep angle, but is the best way up the mountain.
Live-in babysitters!
Sonia and Luke were over from the UK and stayed with us for a little while and we got to see some movies at the cinema.
New draft picks
Imogen, Freya, and Astrid Veal learn what real footy is all about. The Veals were in town for a couple of days and we showed them around.
Lloydie!!!
Sam has just showed Matthew Lloyd how to kick with his left foot. Lloyd is open-mouthed with astonishment.
McVeigh goes down
Moments after this photo was taken Mark McVeigh went to the pub with Dean Solomon and wasn't seen again for the rest of the season (except in the back pages of the Herald Sun).
Sleepover!!
Molly (on the back of the sofa), Georgia, Ashley, Hannah, and that other kid whose name I can't remember all set for the sleepover party.
