Each year, Melbourne partially shuts down during the months of March and April for the festival known as "Vicki's birthday." Hannah has decided that that is an excellent way of celebrating. This year her birthday party is divided into three (or is it four?) separate events. The first event was a Saturday night sleepover party with her friends Nora, Emma, and Juliana. The party included lots of food, dance, games, a screening of "Singin' in the Rain", and this magnificent cheesecake from Junior's, a Brooklyn institution. Birthday Celebrations (1)

Everyone has birthday festivals....don't they? The opening ceremony that Hannah had sounds like fun! I look forward to hearing about the rest of the festivities! Although don't be sad at the closing ceremony...next year's birthday isn't that far away!!!

It hardly seems fair that Hannah gets to have 4 or 5 celbrations for her birthday when I only get one birthday every 4 years!!
Despite that I hope that every birhday event was more spectacular than the last.
