On Memorial Day we had a barbecue to say goodbye to all our friends in Park Slope. Fun was had by all. Sam said the best bit was the water pistol fights.

Rachel and Sam went to England for a weekend. Entirely by coincidence, Portsmouth were playing in the FA Cup Final. Teresa made sure that Sam had the right outfit to watch the game. And the game had the right result.

Hannah's 8th
Brooklyn Half-Marathon 2008
Kathy and I at the conclusion of this year's Brooklyn Half Marathon. We beat last year's time by almost ten minutes. And felt pretty good about it.
Hannah's birthday
To celebrate Hannah's birthday, I took some cupcakes into her classroom.
Later, at swimming, I told Sam and Lucas that there was going to be lots of birthday cake the next day. They were pretty happy about it.
