The children stop to demonstrate how narrow are the gorges on the way to Sand Dune Arch in Arches National Park.
Sam wasn't much impressed by the scenery. But he loved the sand! He kept laying down to make sand angels.

Sam fell over, skinned his knee, and insisted he could no longer walk. Less than one minute later he took great delight in licking my hat. Maybe he was hungry too!

So hard to believe you haven't even been gone a WEEK--while we love to see the pix, it makes us miss you all over again! The scenery is magnificent, and I love that Hannah is such an eager hiker!!
You've gotten so ambitious with the map, too.
