Day 8. Bryce National Park

The only National Park in America, or indeed the world, named after Larelle Bryce! Here is Natural Bridge.

A whole bunch of hoodoos. The hoodoos are the tall, thin spires of sedimentary rock that remain after erosion. At Bryce they form a beautiful amphitheater shape.

On the way back from Bryce Canyon, we stopped at Red Canyon for a picnic lunch. Can't go anywhere around here without running into another canyon.

Most parents get, "Are we there yet?" We get, "Will the next campground have a pool? Can we swim when we get there?" Hannah and Sam in Nirvana.

Really great tracking you guys and all the photos. Hope you two geotechs don't spend the day talking about the load bearing capacity of the different rocks. Hi to Hannah and Sam. Philip
